About · Keep Them Spinning

Records deserve a home — not a shelf.

We are three collectors in Madrid designing solid wood storage for the real weight of a record collection. Since 2022, 3,300+ collectors in 25 countries have trusted us with theirs.

Havana → Madrid

It started with a boy, a record and a question that took thirty years to answer: why is furniture built for records so careless with them?

A boy, a record, and a question that took thirty years to answer

Gilberto learned to handle a record before he learned to read. In Havana, vinyl wasn't stored, it was looked after: two hands, by the edges, never the face. His father did it that way. So did he.

Thirty years and an ocean later, three friends in Madrid stood in front of a flat-pack shelf bowing under a growing collection. The maths was simple. Fifty records weigh about 12.5 kg, and that shelf was rated for 13. So in 2022 they built the one they wanted to own.

Three friends, one table, no shortcuts

Guillermo, Gilberto and Rodolfo. No investors, no brand agency. The three people who drew the first module still sign off every new one, and still answer your messages.

Three things we refuse to compromise on

Everything else is style. These three decide whether a design ships or goes back to the drawing board.

01 — Material

Solid wood. Or nothing.

No MDF, no particleboard, no veneer. Each Vinyl Modular has 32 reinforcement points (20 steel anchors, 12 wooden dowels) and is validated to 23–25 kg, about twice what fifty records weigh.

02 — System

Start with one. Keep going.

The Vinyl Modular stacks, so your storage grows at the pace of your records. Buy what you need today and add the rest when the collection asks for it.

03 — People

Real people, real answers.

Questions before you buy, help after it arrives: email or WhatsApp, answered by us in Madrid. 30 days to return, and a full guarantee against defects.

Questions collectors ask before they buy

Where is Keep Them Spinning based?
In Madrid, Spain. We design every piece here, and every web order ships from our warehouse at Calle Severo Ochoa 13, Rivas-Vaciamadrid.
What wood do you use?
Solid wood throughout: no MDF, no particleboard, no veneer. We chose a light, fast-growing solid wood that carries 23–25 kg per module and still ships affordably.
How long does delivery take?
In-stock orders leave our warehouse within 1–2 business days. Delivery then takes 3–5 business days in mainland Spain and 5–7 business days to most other countries. Pre-order pieces ship on the date shown on their product page.
Is the price I see the price I pay?
In the EU, VAT is included. For the UK and the US, import duties and taxes are included too, so nothing is due at the door. In a few countries, such as Canada, local import taxes are collected on delivery. Shipping, or free shipping where it applies, is shown in the cart before you pay.
Can I start small and add modules later?
Yes. Most collectors start with one Vinyl Modular (50 LPs) or a Vinyl Modular x4 (200 LPs) and stack more as the collection grows. A module bought next year fits the one you buy today.
What about returns and guarantee?
You have 30 days from delivery to return any unused item in its original packaging. Return shipping is paid by you unless the item is faulty. If something arrives damaged or defective, we fix it at no cost: parts, a replacement or a refund. Every piece carries the legal guarantee: 2 years in the EU, 1 year in the US.
How can I reach you?
