Frequently Asked Questions

No. The records sit in a groove channel that holds them by the outer edge and sleeve. There is no clamping, no pressure on the vinyl surface, and no adhesive. The weight of the record itself keeps it in place. Swap albums in and out without tools.

A single Flying Vinyl displays one LP cover face-forward. The Flying V x2 holds up to 120 records in a double-row wall installation. Mix and match single mounts and double units to fill any wall space. Most collectors start with 4-6 mounts and expand from there.

Drywall, plaster, brick, concrete, and wood paneling. Mounting hardware is included for all wall types. Each mount uses two screws. A loaded mount with LP weighs under 500g total, so standard drywall anchors are more than enough.

The mounts are designed for standard 12-inch LPs. A 10-inch record will sit in the groove but will not fill the display width. 7-inch singles are too small for the groove channel. For singles, we recommend a dedicated display shelf or the Vinyl Break stand.

About 4cm from wall to the front edge of the record. The mount itself is low-profile solid Paulownia. It does not take up meaningful room space, which makes it suitable for narrow hallways, above desks, or gallery-style arrangements in living rooms.

Same solid wood construction, different finish. The standard Flying Vinyl has the natural Paulownia look. The Vinyls Edition x2 comes as a two-pack with a special limited-run finish. Both hold records the same way and use the same mounting system.

Your Walls. Your Records.

Album art deserves more than a shelf. Solid wood wall mounts, quick-swap design, gallery-ready.
