It provides an incredible strength-to-weight ratio; each module is light enough to move (4.9 kg) but holds the weight of 50+ LPs without breaking a sweat. As a fast-growing, FSC-certified species, it’s the most responsible choice for the eco-conscious audiophile.

Why Paulownia Wood?

We chose solid FSC-certified Paulownia wood for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio.

It’s significantly lighter than many traditional hardwoods and common engineered boards, making each module easier to move and reconfigure — without compromising structural performance.

Paulownia reaches maturity in just 5–8 years, making it a fast-renewable and more sustainable alternative to slower-growing species like oak or pine.

Naturally stable under normal indoor humidity conditions, it helps protect your records by maintaining its shape over time.
