- Measure the wallEye-level center is typically 145-155cm from floor. For multi-record displays, allow 35cm spacing between mounts.
- Mark anchor pointsUse the included template (or print our free PDF) to mark drill points. KTS mounts use 2 anchor points each for stability.
- Drill and install anchorsStandard 6mm drill bit, plastic anchors included. 5-minute install per mount.

Vinyl Wall Mount FAQ
No. Flying Vx2 and Vinyl Break hold the record by the outer sleeve edge, never touching the vinyl surface. The solid wood is sanded smooth.
Each Flying Vx2 mount holds up to 2kg total — far more than the 250g of a typical 12-inch vinyl plus sleeve. Vinyl Break holds up to 3kg.
Both mounts fit standard 12-inch sleeves (31.5cm width). Double LPs in gatefold sleeves are slightly thicker but still fit. Box sets thicker than 2cm require Modular Foreigner.
Yes — for permanent mounting. Each mount has 2 anchor points. If you rent or cannot drill, our Vinyl Stand options work on shelves or tabletops.
Yes — UV light degrades vinyl over time. Avoid placing wall mounts directly opposite south-facing windows. Indirect light is safe.
We recommend rotating monthly to prevent sleeve fading and to refresh the visual. Many collectors rotate by season, artist, or mood.
